About

Lautaro Mitelman

I’m a software engineer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve spent the last eight years building backend systems at scale.

Today I’m at Strike, working on AI-led offensive security. We build a platform that combines AI agents with elite security researchers to run continuous attack simulations, helping companies find vulnerabilities before attackers do.

My career started at Banco Comafi, where I learned to wear many hats: building web applications, leading client presentations, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. I helped onboard over 400,000 users to their platform.

That experience led me to Naranja X, where I worked on backend systems serving millions of users through their mobile app and powering operations across 170 physical branches.

I then joined Pomelo, building the infrastructure that lets fintechs across the region issue cards and process payments. Our card platform handled over 50 million transactions daily.

I work primarily with Kotlin, Go, and TypeScript. I’ve spent most of my career designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and systems where reliability and performance aren’t optional.

Outside of work, I'm training for half-marathons, lifting at the gym, and reading about technology, health, and finance. This blog is where I'm slowly figuring out what I want to say about all of it. I also write about philosophy and lifestyle on Medium.
